Happy New Year! This is traditionally the time when we look back and say, "well, good thing that's over with" and plan ahead for a bigger and brighter New Year. One good sign for the upcoming year: as we enter it, nothing is retrograde. Sounds good, right? Well, look back at the mayhem in the world the last few months, and imagine it with the brakes off. Oh boy! Let's see if some of that anarchy can be turned to romantic shake-ups...
FRIDAY: The Moon spends pretty much the entire day void of course in Pisces. That makes for a lot of soft feelings, laziness, and lying around. There's nothing wrong with that sort of thing, but it's not the circumstances to start up something new. Do all your plotting about how your next year will be better today, because the next two days will likely be too busy for you to put any proper work into those resolutions.
SATURDAY: Rumor has it that there may be some sort of party this evening... perhaps a chance to socialize and meet a potential new mate. With the Moon in Aries, your impulsiveness may be a little higher than usual, and with luck, someone else's will be too. And with Moon square Pluto around midnight, go a head and impulsively kiss someone. Then, heck, impulsively kiss someone else too. Don't kiss the pavement on your way out of the party when you kiss someone's spouse, though.
SUNDAY: Happy Hangover Day! Brace yourself for twelve months of people worrying about the Mayan Calendar and the end of the world and such. Well, good news/bad news: you don't get out of your hangover THAT easily, and neither will the rest of the planet. Mid-day, the Moon is trine Mercury and sextile Venus, which is a good time to initiate romantic contact... or apologize for last night.
