Astrology Dating's Weekend Romance Forecast: February 3-5, 2012 (0)

2012 | Jan 31

This weekend Neptune enters Pisces, and stays there for over a decade. Yes, that’s all really significant and world-changing and stuff, but we’re all about the romance here, and what you need to know about Neptune is this: it’s dreamy and it’s deceptive. You can’t really have decent romance without it, and that same buzz it gives is what often makes the thump feel all the harder when you hit the ground afterwards. But overall, it’s a good time for romance and Romantics. For our purposes, just stay focused on Neptune’s sextile to Jupiter, which is a great time to start or strengthen a relationship.

FRIDAY: An odd day, mood-wise: earlier in the day, Moon in Gemini is square Venus and Mars, which makes for romantic and sexual impulses (but not in a stable way), then builds to the trine with Saturn, which is practical but not very sexy. If you’re looking for romance, your day may be best spent re-evaluation your approach and your choices.

SATURDAY: The Moon in Cancer is a much better match for today’s energies than Moon in Gemini was, and you’ll probably notice a much mellower day overall. Things get a little odd towards the evening as the Moon is quincunx The Sun and Mercury, so expect feathers to get a little ruffled, and for egos to need stroking. Come to think of it, all that ruffling and stroking could make for a pretty decent date...

SUNDAY: With all that planning on Friday and all that ruffling on Saturday, you’d probably like to track down something stimulating but stable, and with the Moon harmonizing with both Venus and Mars today, it’s possible to find that fine line and stick to it today. Around 5 PM Eastern (2 PM Pacific) is an ideal time to set up a date for next weekend. Go ahead, make that call!
