There are a lot of beginnings and endings this weekend... and not just the usual relationship beginnings you'd expect from an astrology dating site, or the endings that might lead one here. Uranus and Jupiter are still hovering at the beginning of Aries, Venus leaves Leo for the beginning of Virgo, and Saturn is still clunking through the last degree of Virgo on its way to Libra. Emotionally, things are kind of a weird mess: it certainly feels like something ought to be getting done in your love life better than it is. Keep your wits if those closest to you (or those you want to be closer to) are a little more annoying than usual. Think of it as that scene at the end of the movie after the credits, where they set up the (hopefully) even more exciting sequel...

FRIDAY: Venus is opposite Neptune for this weekend, but its effects are most noticeable today. This aspect makes for a nice, fuzzy romantic undertone to the weekend, even if a lot of the other factors for romantic success are a little weird and wobbly. The Moon in Gemini will be squaring either Mars or Saturn for most of the day, disrupting moods and plans more so than usual. Make romantic plans earlier in the day (for tomorrow, ideally) and then lay low for best results.

SATURDAY: The Moon is in Cancer, and after a final hiccup (opposing Pluto and squaring Jupiter and Uranus early in the day) the overall mood improves. Venus is newly entered into Virgo, adding a degree of calculation to her usual methods. There's a lot of emotion hiding behind the words and the actions of others today, and getting to the heart of things may take a little more code-breaking than usual. Again, a little advance planning makes the difference between a good time and a mediocre one.

SUNDAY: The Sun and Moon will both sextile Mars today, adding a little urgency and impatience to the emotions today. There's also opportunity to strengthen an existing bond, as Venus is trine to Pluto, adding depth to the feelings. just make sure you aren't too impulsive, as Venus is also quincunx Jupiter and Uranus... in other words, "I want love, I want it now, and I'm not sure where or how I'm getting it." With that in mind... it makes sense that I told you to plan things carefully in advance, doesn't it...?
