Astrology Dating's Weekend Romance Horoscope: September 3-5, 2010 (0)

2010 | Sep 1

Remember that old hit from Sonny & Cher, "I Got You Babe"? If you don't, go listen to it now. Then repeat that song in your head all weekend long. This weekend sees all the usual things astrologers like to complain about lately... Mercury retrograde, Saturn square Pluto, and so on... but the big romantic news is Venus trine Neptune. That makes everything dreamier and fuzzier, and in difficult times, that's a good thing. Almost anything in life can be more bearable if you have an optimistic mood, and have someone to share that mood with. If you haven't got someone like that to help get you through the weekend, well... this is an astrology dating site, right? Get that song memorized and start humming...

FRIDAY: "They say we're young and we don't know
We won't find out until we grow."

After a Moon square Saturn/opposite Pluto speed bump earlier in the day tries your patience the rest of the evening should be fairly smooth sailing, especially about two hours after local sunset if you have some romance planned. If you haven't got anything planned for that exact time, plan something then for the rest of the weekend.

SATURDAY: "They say our love won't pay the rent
Before it's earned, our money's all been spent
I guess that's so, we don't have a pot
But at least I'm sure of all the things we got"

The Venus-Neptune trine is exact, amplifying the warm fuzzies. Later in the day though the Moon in Cancer will be squaring Venus and quincunx Neptune, which can make for emotional overspending. If you can plan romance on a budget, do it. If you can plan expensive romance... do it, but you've been warned...

SUNDAY: "I got you babe! (da DAH da DAH da DAH)..."

As far as starting anything new romantically, today is a mixed bag. But the Moon in Leo is great for romance in general, and if you played your cards right Friday and Saturday, odds are good you'll be feeling great no matter how much cash you blew Saturday night. And, if not... well, there's always hope. And it's still a great song, and a great thing to aspire to. So there.
