Jupiter is a fun planet, and Gemini is a fun sign. So, when the two get together, you'd expect a year's worth of good times. And yes, there will be plenty of those to be had in the next year. But Jupiter is "debilitated" in Gemini (opposite the sign it rules, Sagittarius). This doesn't mean Jupiter will be less fun or effective or useful than usual. It just means Jupiter is going to be a bit... well, more scattered and less focused than usual.  So... since Jupiter actually entered Gemini a few days ago, and since Jupiter rules (among other things) publications... here's your Jupiter in Gemini forecast for now through next June, a few days late. Hey, don't get hung up on the details, dude.

ARIES:  Rams love to lead with their head, dive in head first, and head for the high country. Aries rules "the head" after all. With Jupiter in your Third House, it's time to use that head for thinking as well as battery. Educational opportunities (formal and otherwise) should abound for you. It's also an excellent time to patch up any miscommunication with your extended family and the neighbors.  Communicating honestly may never have been a problem before, but now you can also learn to communicate effectively... that is, with less head-butting.

TAURUS:  Last time, when Jupiter was in your sign, it probably gave you a nice boost. Now's the time to build on that. This may mean simply expanding your money-making opportunities, changing investments around, or just working on the things that nourish your self-esteem. Jupiter is associated with big money, big wins, and big... well, everything... but this isn't an excuse to go blowing your credit rating. You'll be able to get more mileage out of the resources at had as well as expand your holdings.

GEMINI:  Yes, people like you. They really like you. You probably learned this during the last year or so when some of them were driving you totally nuts... but the others were generally pretty supportive. Now is the time to drive others nuts -- with your charm and intelligence, of course. Being outgoing and enthusiastic will naturally draw more and better things to you, so be yourself. People already respond well to you, but now they'll be twice as intrigued. Or of course, you could just bounce through it having a good time and not put any effort into it.

CANCER:  Sometimes, you have to "let go, and let God" (or possibly "let go and let Darwin"), and in the next year that should be a remarkably profitable experience for you, one way or another. Cancers aren't really known for having big Egos, but let's face it: the Ego is the part of a person that worries about "little old me." A 12th House transit like this one is sort of an anti-Ego experience, if you will, and once you let go of your fears... you might find you didn't need them.

LEO:  Giving off the appearance of being king/queen of the jungle is a natural for you, but this may be the time when you naturally find yourself in a position of leadership in your social circle, with your co-workers, and with life in general. Your social connections will be strengthened and widened, and will be of benefit to you and others both. Get networking! Find goals that benefit both you and others, and aim high.

VIRGO:  Virgos have a reputation for being good at "taking care of business" without necessarily paying attention to the big picture that Business involves. That's going to change in the next year. Yes, the whole world is struggling with a lousy economy, but individual success can and does still happen, and for the first time in a long time, your career opportunities will expand greatly. If you've never considered a career in sales, at least learn how to sell YOURSELF.

LIBRA:  Libras are good for a lot more than just making sure their accessories match and writing thank-you notes and such: deep inside every Libra there is a real Creator. The last year you've likely been stuck co-ordinating and prettifying other people's lives, and now is the time to turn those powers on yourself. New forms of creative expression will be found, new hobbies, and new delights will reveal themselves. Oh, and, romance? The opportunities multiply.

SCORPIO:  It's almost impossible for the average astrologer to write about any kind of transit through Scorpio's Eighth House without mentioning sex. So let's focus instead on the next year's worth of loans and mortgages, all of which can be dealt with successfully now. Shared resources and budgets will expand and generally go smoothly. You're also likely to spend some time deeply investigating the state of your own mind, especially involving relationships. Oh, and sex. Lots of sex.

SAGITTARIUS:  There's a line in the movie "Kama Sutra" where the astrologer tells the Prince that Jupiter has entered his Second House, and that it's most auspicious for relationships. So naturally, the Prince gets married... and starts a fling with the wife's sister. Jupiter's expansiveness is entering your Relationship House, sure... but that means new appreciation for relationships, not a bunch of them, right? It's Quality Time... NOT "quantity."

CAPRICORN:  Entropy: it's the Universal Rule that things fall apart and decay without regular maintenance. Think of the next year of your life as a battle between you and Entropy, only this time around you're Superman, and Entropy is just a garden-variety bank robber or something. If there have been any nagging health concerns, it will be a good time to better understand them and (with luck) minimize their effects. Unless that "health concern" is your actual weight... in which case, better bring Batman along for the job too.

AQUARIUS:  Romance? Creativity? Child-like glee? Sure, you can pull those things off if you have to, but for the average Aquarius the simple pleasures of daily life can get drowned out in the larger picture. Not so with Jupiter in Gemini: you'll have many more opportunities for general good times... and specifically, romance. Your creative flair will be boosted, and can be applied to any department of your life that needs it.  Work can be made more fun too. Just be careful not to party TOO hard.

PISCES:  Breathe deeply and center yourself. Yes, all advice to Pisces seems to fall back on "inner wisdom" or "meditation" or something New Age-y, doesn't it? Grounding isn't just a matter of getting your chakras lined up properly: it's your home base and your immediate surroundings as well.  You'll likely be treating home as a refuge more than usual, and the best way to recover and get back in the game is to make sure your nest is tidy and to your liking. Also: call your Mom.
