Our Weekend Romance Horoscope: March 5-7, 2010 (2)

2010 | Mar 3

The weekend starts with the moon in Scorpio (which isn't always as sexy as it sounds) and ends with Venus in Aries, which is in a hurry to be sexy and (often) in a hurry to leave afterwards. Venus in Aries hasn't got the best of reputations among astrologers: it's considered to be a "debilitated" placement, opposite a sign it rules (Libra). Venus in Aries isn't considered to be very "ladylike." Then again, how far has the "ladylike" approach gotten you in your love life thus far? Just sayin'...

FRIDAY: The Moon is void of course until later in the evening, when it enters fun-lovin' Sagittarius. If you made plans earlier for a date, conditions may be good, but don't count on anything of value presenting itself this evening. It might be a better evening to hang out with friends than to expect romance. Conditions are good earlier in the day to set up something for Sunday. Trust me: this week, Sunday is a good one.

SATURDAY: The Moon makes a square to Mercury (communications) and then to Jupiter (good times) this evening. Although both these transits can end up having a boisterous, jolly feeling, beware miscommunication and overindulgence. And especially: avoid overindulging and then initiating miscommunication. Probably a good idea to save all emails to draft until Sunday morning and put a breathalyzer on your cell phone: it's Drunk Dialing night!

SUNDAY: Sunday may not usually be everyone's big date day, but with Venus entering Aries (making everyone more romantically bold), Mercury conjunct Jupiter (creating the urge to communicate in positive ways) and Venus trine Mars (amplifying sex drives), this week it ought to be. Invest your dating time and energy in a simple first contact over coffee in the afternoon, and feel the magic...
