Relationships have been put through the ringer this past six weeks when Venus, the planet of love, values, and money, went retrograde in the sign of Gemini on May 14th.  When a planet retrogrades, the energy of the planet weakens.  It forces us turn inwards and assess that area of our lives. In this case, Venus is about relationships: our relationships with ourselves, others,finances,and what we value.

To add this cosmic emphasis on partnerships, Saturn, the planet of structure and  limitations,has been retrograde in the love ruled sign of Libra. Libra is ruled by the planet of love: Venus. Saturn is the cosmic cop, who forces us to face areas in our lives, in which we need to take responsibility. Saturn's goal as task master is to build structure;therefore, it rewards our hard work and discipline.

Saturn entered the sign of Libra on August 3, 2010.  Saturn's cycle is approximately 28.5 years.  If you can remember, look back to the themes in your life, which occurred in 1982 and 1983.  Similar trends will surface with Saturn's current journey in Libra.  Saturn forces us to examine and determine what we need to build healthy relationships and self esteem; the need for Saturn in Libra is to balance the two. 

Saturn stationed retrograde at 29 degrees of Libra on January 15, 2012.  Since then, things have been a bit on hold in terms of partnerships.  Saturn stations direct on June 25, 2012 at 22 degrees of the Cardinal sign of Libra.  Anyone with planets at 22 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn, or Cancer will feel this energy intensely.  Saturn is enforcing us to master relationships in our lives and figure the best plan of action.  If a relationship is on the brink of breaking up, this is the pivotal week of making up or breaking up. 

This is the week to decide what you want in relationships, and what your heart's desire is for the remaining time of Saturn in Libra.  Saturn will remain in the sign of love until October 6, 2012.  This next few months is the time to build and focus on your goals in matters of the heart, what you value, and self esteem in partnerships.

Venus stations direct on June 27th at 7 degrees of Gemini, and this will be very helpful for moving forward in relationships and financial matters, as well.  Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, and it involves all forms of communication, sales, travel, and various forms of information. There will be a big shift of energy this week, lots of communication, and lots of ideas!  If business and love have been stagnant, now is the time to move forward and take action.  I wish you much luck.
