The 21st of this month sees an exact Saturn-Pluto square, amplifying the effects of the ongoing Big Scary T-Square in the Cardinal Signs. A lot of tensions are building, and for many it feels like something ugly is about to burst forth. Fortunately... there are ways to deal with these tensions.  One way is to simply understand them. SATURN: (Carrying a placard that reads "I Didn't Order THIS Disorder") A Better System!!

URANUS: (Holding a sign with various swastikas and hammers & sickles crossed out) More Freedom!!

JUPITER: (Waving a placard that reads "I Won't Socialize With Socialists!") A unified philosophical worldview and lots and lots of candy!!

PLUTO: And when do we want it??

All: Right NOW!!

(SCENE: An apartment bedroom half a block away. VENUS and MARS are watching the scene at City Hall.)

VENUS: (sighs sadly) People are so crazy.

MARS: And those guys don't seem to know that the local government had to move into an abandoned warehouse six months ago because no one wanted to pay their taxes...

(Back at City Hall, URANUS and PLUTO are throwing lit Molotov cocktails at the building. Fast Food store employees rush out to douse the flames with old frying oil. They are shocked to discover that it doesn't help at all.)

MARS: ...and that the Fire Department had to shut down for the same reason.

VENUS: You know, if everyone was just a little nicer to everyone else... and themselves... everyone would realize that we're all interconnected, and that none of this drama helps things.

MARS: You got that right, babe! (Leers at VENUS in her lingerie) Hey, let's get back to that conjunction...
