Your Weekend Romance Horoscope: February 5-7, 2010 (1)

2010 | Feb 4 in all signs, astrology, charts, planets

By Matthew Currie

(Hey, why waste time looking at the whole week, when you've just got to sit at work half the day anyway?)

Venus is in Aquarius, and is now pulling into conjunction with Neptune. This can bring a lot of love, good times, and romantic warmth and fuzziness. Of course, it can also brink drunkenness, delusion, and overspending... which at times can also be vital ingredients to starting or revving up a relationship. The conjunction is good news for Aquarians... but may in fact be better news for an Aries, Leo, or Libra looking to make a connection.

FRIDAY: A waning Moon in Scorpio makes for a lot of emotional intensity, but isn't necessarily stable. And it squares the Sun exactly at 6:48 PM EST (3:48 PST), which tends to agitate people's egos a little. Overall, not bad for romance... but try to wait until later in the evening for an initial meeting if possible.

SATURDAY: The Moon enters Sagittarius, which lightens the mood a little. Best time to plan a first date/initiate contact: local sunset or shortly thereafter, when Venus and Neptune are passing through the local Seventh House.. Tauruses and Scorpios will still be a little crazy from yesterday, but the effect is passing.

SUNDAY: If you can somehow time a date for 9:44 PM PST, and you're actually on the West Coast, the Venus-Neptune conjunction becomes exact in the Fifth House. If you're on the East Coast, aim for 12:44 AM Monday. Either way, if you're arranging dates for Sunday evening, maybe you don't need my help. It's a good day for romantic communication though... so if you had a good date this weekend, the timing should be good to pick up that phone and ask for another one.
