Welcome to this weeks edition of In the Stars. This week, we bring you a little political humor, some insight into this weekends Astrological line up and more information about my own personal history than many of my friends have about me.
Which brings me to a question. Do you know where Saturn and Pluto are hitting your chart at the moment? They are the two of the tougher planets in the sky and where they are moving through your personal natal chart, generally indicates what area of your life is giving you a "Growth Experience". None of us like those but knowing how long they are going to be particularly tough for, can be helpful.

I am currently getting my behind kicked by several, difficult astrological transits. Pluto is opposing my Sun, while Saturn is squaring it, being the most significant. Super not fun. Lots of death and rebirth stuff going on. Who doesn't love that? Here is a little insight into my world of yesterday and today.
I suspect that for the first four years of my life, my relationship with my father was probably very sweet. My mother says he adored me and I have no memories to contradict that. In fact, the one clear memory I have of him was when I was four, and we were driving down the street in a station wagon. (I believe it even had wood paneling. My parents knew how to roll!)

There are few subjects that can spoil that exciting honeymoon period in the beginning of a relationship the way politics can. If two people are totally into each other, they are seeing each other through rose-colored glasses. The last thing they want to find out in that dreamy-eyed first few months is that their relationship is doomed - that once the happy haze lifts, the love will be lost to opposing political viewpoints or conflicting religious affiliations. Religion is a different topic for a different day. For now, let’s talk politics.

Neptune inherently is associated with floating around in the subconscious, dealing with spiritual matters, and (often) ignoring or over-reacting to the obvious. This weekend, Jupiter and the Moon's Nodes are square Neptune, making for all kinds of weird little karmic glitches with the people you have bonds with. Given that not much else is aspecting this combo over the weekend, it may be time to find a soul mate, or change the conditions with one. And... is that always easy, good, comfortable news?
